Am I Experiencing Hearing Loss

Between 25 and 28 million people in America have some type of hearing loss; are you one of them?  If one out of every ten people are experiencing a degree of hearing loss, chances are that you, or someone you know, is showing signs like these:

  • Saying people don’t speak clearly
  • Asking others to repeat themselves
  • Become impatient, grumpy, or isolated
  • Volume issues with TV or telephones

Next to arthritis and hypertension, hearing loss is the third most serious health issue in senior citizens.  It also affects over one million school-aged children and young adults.  About ninety-three percent of those experiencing the signs of hearing loss can be helped by hearing aids or other, more preventative measures.
